Baked Beans #1

2 cups
Beans
White or pinto
1/4 lb
Salt pork
Or 1 pork hock
1 1/2 tsp
Salt
 
1/4 cup
Onion
Chopped
3 tbsp
Brown sugar
 
3 tbsp
Molasses
 
1/2 tsp
Mustard powder
 
2 tbsp
Ketchup
 
2 1/2 cups
Water
 

Soak the beans overnight. In the morning, drain and cover with fresh water. Cook
for 30 minutes.
Place salt pork or pork hock in the bottom of a pot. Add beans and remaining
ingredients and mix well. Cover pot and bake @ 250 for 6-8 hours. Check
periodically and add water to keep the beans moist.
Remove the lid for the last half hour.
