Pickled Beets

4 Qt's
Beets
Cooked and sliced or cubed
 
Brine
 
3 cups
Vinegar
 
1 1/4 Cup
Sugar
 
2 Tbsp
Whole Allspice
 
1 Stick
Cinnamon
 
1/2 tsp
Whole Cloves
 
1 tsp
Pickling salts
 

Mix all ingredients for the brine and bring to a boil. Add the cooked beets and
bring back to a full boil again.
Fill sterilized jars with beet covered in brine, remove air bubbles and seal.
